Electrolysis
Electro-epilation is the efficient and permanent technique of hair removal. Suitable for most areas of the body. disposable sterilised needles are always used. A free consultation included with your first booking.
Electrolysis is from 15 minutes through to one hour depending on your requirements. This is the oldest and most popular form of permanent hair reduction which involves inserting a tiny electrified needle (width of the hair) into individual hair roots to destroy the growth cells. Over a series of sessions, depending on the area to be treated, electrolysis is successful in reducing permanent hair growth.
Other problems electrolysis can treat...
Thread veins - enlarged capillaries. Using the short wave diathermy method, the blood supply to the vein is cauterised so the blood in the vein dries up and the redness disappears.
Milia/whiteheads - little white lumps often found on cheeks, side of nose and around the eyes. These are plugs of sebum and dead skin cells which block pores. Sterile sharp needle is used to remove them.
Skin tags - flesh coloured loose lumps of skin often ranging in size from a small grain of rice to a large pea. Commonly found in areas where friction takes place such as under arms, under the breast, the neck (often rubbed with the collar or necklaces.) The needle is inserted into the 'stalk' of the skin tag cauterising the blood flow. Once no blood can pass through, the skin tag will fall off.
